Up for auction is a very nice 1986 Pierce pumper fire truck that was taken out of service about a month ago from a small town Vol fire dept, I bought this directly from the fire dept and it had always been parked inside ( I actually drove it out of the fire station when I picked it up ) I drove it home about 50 miles and it runs, drive and stops very well, It is powered by a V71 Detroit engine and a Allison Automatic transmission, Truck has air brakes and stops great, All 6 tires are in very nice shape, The truck still has a power inverter for 110 power, As far as I could tell, everything works on the truck, The fire chief said they recently put a new pump in this truck because they were planning to keep it in service but were offered a newer truck from a nearby town so made the decision to upgrade, It also has a 1,000 gallon water tank. This would be a great collector truck or parade piece, or a good water truck for construction. The truck will be sold with a previous registration and a Vt dealer report of sale / bill of sale only because Vermont does not title any vehicle over 15 years old, I am a Vt licensed used car dealer and I can provide a intransit plate if you are from outside of Vt and wish to drive it home, This is a great chance to own a very nice fire engine for short money. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or call 802-485-4920 and ask for Reggie
NOTE : I also have the original manuals and books for the truck and they are includedOn May-12-20 at 07:50:09 PDT, seller added the following information:This is the V6 version of the V71This truck also has a Jake brake
