1987 Ford armored truck with 6.6 403 turbocharged diesel engine. Allison 4 speed automatic transmission. Class 6 19,000 to 26,000 GVW with hydraulic brakes so no CDL required to drive this truck.
Recent work done: rear left & right brakes new wheel cylinders, spring kits, maxi brakes left & right, rear brake lines, new not rebuilt OEM master cylinder, flush & replace all brake fluids, new RC01 brake back pressure valve, new rear wheel studs, ignition switch, starter solenoid, engine crankcase breather filter, thermostat, 3 fuel filters, fuel lift pump and oil change. Pulled and inspected the rear differential & replaced gasket 4.10 gear ratio. New inner and outer L/R axle bearings and seals then added AMSOIL gear lube.
It has the infamously reliable mechanical bosh inline injector pump like the ones found on the DT 360/466, Cummins 5.9 IDI, and Ford/New Holland engines. No electronic sensors or ECM headaches to worry about. 314K miles and ready for 300K more.
