Located in Mississippi, this truck was owned by a rural fire department in our neighboring State of LA just about 200 miles from our location! It was used by the fire department and replaced within the last 2 years with a newer model, simply updating units by age. We purchased the truck directly from the agency, not from a broker, dealer or auction, an additional water truck not needed at this time so turning the truck into cash. The truck cranks right up, drives and operates correctly, engine runs great, doesn’t smoke or use excessive oil or run hot, transmission shifts out very smooth, clutch is good, brakes work great, batteries are hot, tires are good, front end is lined up and travels down the highway great, pto and pump work properly, unit is in great condition for its age! This truck has been maintained and serviced properly, has been kept up and ready to go on a call anytime. We do not have service records or no the complete history of the truck, best guess is that the truck was at some point converted into a water tanker truck, would not think they would put 400k miles on a water tanker truck, looks like the aluminum body/pto pump and 3rd axle were added to the truck from its original application, most likely a truck tractor but again do not have complete history, don’t let the miles bother you this is a million mile truck by all means, KW is top of the line! The truck is in very good shape for its age, very little negative to find or say about it, the fire department decals are still on the door but can be removed easily, tire condition is very good and can be seen in the photos, interior is in great shape also, other than that what you see is what you get, truck is very good for its age. You are buying the truck to have a clean/clear transferable title, to run/drive/operate and be 100% roadworthy! (The truck was just washed in some of the photos so any drips or wet spots around, on or below truck is from it being washed not from leaks!)
