I have for sale a 1987 Mack Superliner. It has the E6-350 engine with jakes and a 9 speed maxi-torque transmission. The engine is very strong and clean. It has a new starter on it. The transmission works as it should and doesn"t have any noises or vibrations. The body of the truck is in great condition. There is no rust on the body. The hood is in excellent condition but could use some new rubber stops. The tires are fair to good all around. Only 1 of the fuel tanks is hooked up. It has 4 new batteries. I made a 4 hour one way non stop tripmin this truck and it did great. There is a small dent in the drivers side cab corner that can be popped back out.
I bought this truck to use around the farm and ultimately had intentions of restoring it. I have no time to fix it up like I want. This truck is more of a hobby to me than anything. It can be put to work tomorrow. I wouldn"t have a bit of problem with taking off on a trip with this truck. I just took off on a 300 mile trip this weekend and it did great. The engine starts up at the touch of the key with no smoke other than normal diesel smoke. The jake brakes do need a new solenoid as they have quit kicking on. It may also just be the switch. I have not had time to look into it. The frame is also in good shape on this truck.
