I"m in NC and bought this several years ago from someone about 50 miles away and drove it home. From what he told me it spent its life in this area.
The auto tech class is the same building where I teach. They changed ALL the fluids. Antifreeze, oil/filter, automatic transmission, rear end (along with the posi additive), brake fluid, and power steering fluid. The rearend ratio is either 4.10 or 4;11 (whatever Dana offered). I think the auto tech class put in new glow plugs and I have new injectors still in their boxes. I have put maybe 150 miles on this since I bought it. Plans change. I took the batteries out and put them in the garage. Over the winter either squirrels or mice ate the lead posts down to almost nothing. It ran when I parked it, that is all I can guarantee. If you want to come by and look at it I will install more batteries. If you want to see a particular part of the truck let me know and I"ll take a picture.
The vehicle has the 7.3 diesel but is not a turbo. I took the A/C off with the plans to install a roof mount Coleman. But did not get that far. There is 48 between the rear benches. It is 9"5 between the rear door and the forward cabinet on the right side. It is 11"0 between the rear door and the driver wall on the left side. Still has the dial-up phone for conversations between the medics and the hospital. The drivers area is spartan compared to vehicles today. The basic van interior with a cobbled up panel for switches and such. Stock vinyl seats, rubber mats, manual windows.
Lots of space both inside the cube and in the storage compartments outside. And I suspect the mileage is 100,000 short. This odometer only has 5 spaces plus one for .1 miles.
