Up for Auction is a 1988 Ford Econoline 350 Ambulance. I bought the ambulance from the state of Indiana Fire Station in 2012. I converted it to a Tailgating Unit for Steeler Games. I designed the vehicle myself with the decals. They all can be removed if you don’t want to use it as a tailgating Vehicle. You can convert this vehicle to use as many different things; An RV, Maintenance Truck, road side assistance truck or many other possibilities. It has a diesel engine, new tires, and it also has a 3000 watt inverter in that works. I had to paint all of the Lights because it is againt PA law to have red lights on a vehicle that is not registered as an emergency vehicle.
THE SIRENS AND LIGHTS DO NOT WORK ON THIS VEHICLE. ALL EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND SIRENS HAVE BEEN REMOVE FROM THE VEHICLE.
There is some rust on both doors. The box (ambulance Part) of the truck is very good condition. There is plenty of storage as you can see from the Pictures. Top speed of this unit is about 70 miles per hour. This vehicle is being sold “AS IS” with NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. The Ambulance was featured in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review paper last year. The starting bid for the ambulance is $2000.00. There is no reserve after the first bid. It will be sold to the highest bidder even if it is the $2000.00. Please do not call with any offers below the starting amount. I have title in hand. I will only accept cash or a cashier’s check within 7 days after the end of the auction. If I do not receive payment within the 7 days, I will relist the vehicle. You must pick the unit up in Greensburg, PA 15501. I will not arrange shipping and will only store the vehicle for 30 days.
