Located in Mississippi, this truck was owned by a local state agency (dept. of rehabilitation services) and was used by the agency to transport supplies from one location to the other, truck was replaced about 2 years ago and has sit not being used for the last 1 ½ year, they simply replaced the truck because of age and appearance. We purchased the truck directly from the agency, not from a broker, dealer or auction, simply turning the truck into cash. The truck cranks right up, drives and operates correctly, engine runs great, doesn’t smoke or use excessive oil or run hot, clutch/transmission shift out great, brakes work great, battery is hot and tire condition can be seen in the photos! This truck has been sitting up for over a year and needs to be ran, driven/used, after purchasing we cranked it up and drove back to our location which is almost 100 miles, truck drove back with no problems or issues, because it has been sitting up form some time it really needs to be ran some more, engine has to be choked when cold cranked, we would also suggest a good servicing – fuel filter – etc. since it has been sitting for some time, the miles are very, very low and actual, look at the interior – not bad for a 1988 year model – dash is cracked up on top but the rest is good, paint is faded and worn off in several spots, other than that what see is what you get! The truck is in very good shape for its age, don’t need a van body truck then take the body off and use cab/chassis for something else, dump truck, flatbed, water truck, local 5th wheel truck or whatever. You are buying the truck to crank, run and drive, have very low original miles and have a clean/clear transferable title! (The truck was just washed in some of the photos so any drips or wet spots around, on or below truck is from it being washed not from leaks!)
