1988 Ford F600 - Ford Turbocharged Commercial 6 Cylinder Diesel w/ 4 speed Automatic Transmission - Under 800 Actual Hours (under 30,000 miles) Power Steering - Power Brakes - 12,000 lb Ramsey Winch - All Like New Tires - Body and interior great Condition - No Rust - No Damage - Engine runs flawlessly with no noises - no Smoke - Same with Trans and Rear End. Purchased from original owner about a year ago in Savannah Georgia and drove home to Wa State over 3000 miles. It ran perfectly all the way back without problem. It Drives as if new. A short while after I got home it developed a problem with the Hydro-Boost power Brakes. I had it repaired at a cost of $1300 with receipts. The Box is in perfect condition. It is a Centennial All Aluminum - Very expensive box With all roll up doors. It has shelves and a center divider. The entire divider and shelves could be easily removed to make an open box. It does not anchor to the roof. The Roof is very strong - made with heavy Aluminum Tread plate. It is made to support walking traffic on top. I might consider selling the box separate. THIS IS NOT A SINGLE PURPOSE FIRE TRUCK THAT IS GOOD FOR NOTHING BUT PARADES. The box could be modified - Removed for flatbed- etc etc. The engine compartment is super clean- The underneath does not even have surface rust. The underneath is free from any oil leaks or drips. The padded dash had 4 holes for a cb when I got it. I was able to find a new padded dash and installed it. I ran the truck all the way home at 55-65 MPH. It was down about 1/2 quart of oil in the 3000 miles. I did not check millage but remember thinking that it was pretty good. I BELIEVE THIS TRUCK IS 100% READY FOR A TRIP ANYWHERE.
