1988 Ford f450 Super duty flatbed wrecker (PROJECT) Needs a transmission and windshield. The truck is powered by a 460 v8 gas engine and a 5 speed manual tranny, I bought this truck a few months ago to use as a back up truck which I did until the tranny locked up earlier this week and I had to tow the truck back to my yard. The truck has a decent 460 engine in it and the truck actually worked pretty well for me until the transmission went. The truck has a steel 17 foot Jerr- Dan Wrangler bed that has seen a lot of use but still functions with a stinger (not a wheel lift) to tow a 2nd car. The cab looks decent but does have some patches on the floor. Vermont does not title any vehicle over 15 years old but I do have a New York title for this truck that was given to me when I purchased it. This is a project truck will need to be towed or trailered home because the tranny is locked up. we pulled a rear axle to tow it home so it does free wheel roll, The engine does start right up but when you engage the clutch, it stalls even in neutral (TRANSMISSION Is JUNK) This is a cheap truck that needs some work but can make a inexpensive flatbed after it is fixed for hauling scrap cars or a farm truck. If you have any questions please email me or call 802-485-4920 and ask for Reggie PS: THIS TRUCK IS NOT DRIVEABLE BECAUSE THE TRANSMISSION IS BLOWN but priced cheap ! NOTE: The odometer reads 41,000 miles but I would guess that it has rolled over to 141,000 but the truck will be sold TMU (True Mileage unknown)
