This was a restoration that I don"t have time to finish. I purchased this about ten years ago. Stripped all the paint (3 paint jobs) and got it down to bare aluminum I was removing floor in squad box when I stopped working on it. I do have all the side doors that are off in pictures and I have all parts that where removed. My plans where to convert it over to a camper and pull my enclosed trailer when we go out dirt bike riding. However my family got to big to fit us all in here. This was setup with a diesel ac generator in rear drivers side box. It wasn"t working I took it to a Kubota dealer and they said the motor had a spun bearing and needed rebuilt w new crankshaft the quote was 4K so I decided when I got the truck done I would put a new generator in its place. Your welcome to take old gen unit but it"s in several pieces and may be missing a couple parts. It had a Kubota d-950 motor generator was made by universal. The 8.2 litre Detroit diesel runs great I was told the engine is a jasper rebuilt engine that was replaced around 155k miles so it only has about 20k miles on it. It has been about two years since I had it running last when I moved it outside of the garage and in back parking lot. I noticed oil pan had a small leak coming from a rust spot on the pan. So it will also need an oil pan. Truck doesn"t have starting batteries in it. As far as back end its approx 15" long and about 70 tall inside height. Ambulance was made by frontline from Florida. I looked them up years ago and it seems they have gone out of business. I do also have a mounted spare tire that goes with it. Truck also has rear air ride suspension with belt driven air compressor on the engine. Hydraulic brakes with hand style parking brake. I hate to see this go but I truly don"t have the time to finish I would like to see it get put to use than sit around. It will need to be trailered out. It"s located in Cleveland Ohio near interstate i480 and I 77. I have the title I never transferred it into my name as I was waiting to complete restro first.
