At the rear of the truck it is 46” from the ground to the top of the bed. The distance from the rear of the deck to the middle of the gooseneck ball is 33”. I cannot give you an accurate fuel consumption figure, I think 10 to 15 MPG depending on the terrain. The trucks rear axle ratio from the factory is 5.38. I would assume it has never been changed. I have the original build sheets for the truck, and was going to include them in the add, but they are PDF files and ebay could not download. I can email to anyone interested who provides an email address.
Question & AnswerAnswered OnQ: Hello-what engine is in the truck? Was it a conversion from new or something somebody built along the way? Thank you, BobSep-28-16A: The engine is the original International DT360. It develops 175 HP @ 2700 RPM. Q: Hi I was wondering if this is a DT360 or is it a DTA. also being in PA how is the rest of the chassis and undercarriage as far as rust is concerned. what road speeds can you maintain comfortably with this setup? I"m looking for one to do what you are doing but with a 5th wheel RV. I see you say it has the fifth wheel hitch as well beyond the gooseneck in the photos do you know the weight rating of it? Thanks for any info you may offer.Sep-27-16A: The engine is an International DT360. It develops 175 HP @ 2700 RPM. I run the road at 60 to 65 MPH. The DT 360 can safely be bumped to around 210 HP and 600 lb-ft Tq by changing the air cooler, injectors, and a little pump work, along with a decent external ATF cooler. All these parts are readily available from salvage yards for little money (except the pump work). The frame and components are not rusted, the truck originally was from Arizona so rust is not a problem. As you can see from the photo of the bed the rails are attached to the frame, the fifth wheel setup replaces the gooseneck assembly on the rails. I am not sure of the fifth wheel rating but will check tomorrow, I think it is 20,000. Q: Is the 35,000 mi. true mile and or has speedometer rolled over, also what town and state so I can estimate cost to pick it up. Can you give me a estimate of fuel mileage you got pulling your rv, we are seriously interested in bidding on your toter. Thanks...Sep-27-16A: GREAT QUESTION: Odometer reads 10,000+ miles. Ebay would not accept add without a figure. I have NO IDEA OF ACTUAL MILEAGE. When I bought truck, about ten years ago, dealer told me it had 25,000 to 35,000 on it. I went by overall GOOD condition of truck when I purchased and have put about 10,000 miles on truck. Speedometer reads 5 to 10 MPH less than actual speed. I use GPS speedometer when driving. I have never done a “CAR-CHECK” using VIN, might help.
