I"d prolly flunk as a salesman, but I gotta be honest. I purchased this Peterbilt three years ago from an individual in OH. The truck had an inframe overhaul approximately 20,000 miles before purchase. Has been a strong running, dependable truck up until April of this year. Donaldson and Peterbilt has been selling me the wrong air filters for the Vortox Air Filtration System this particular truck has. The correct air filters, and proper gaskets for the lids are now in place. The truck is still running, and has the power, but is more than likely gonna need an overhaul. I was advised by my mechanic to list the truck as is. Was informed most buyers want and request paperwork on an overhaul, and would like to have an overhaul to their particular specs. So here it is. . .Nice looking 1988 Peterbilt 379 Short Hood, 3406B Cat, 425hp, 13spd EF transmission. Truck has 8 new drives, wouldn"t hurt to have new steers in near future, but currently runnin. Truck has new driveline from tranny to front drive axle. New spring hangers on steer axle with bushings. New bearings, seals, brakes on steer axle as well. New charge air cooler and radiator.
