Up for auction is a very nice 1989 Ford 8000 E-One fire engine that was just taken out of service by a local vol fire dept who was the 2nd owner of the truck, It started out its life serving Ledyard CT and was brought to Topsham Vt a few years ago to server the Tri-Village fire dept, who recently replaced it with a newer truck so I bought it from them. The truck has 31k actual miles and runs and drives like new, it is powered by a 3208 Cat and a allison automatic, Truck also has air brakes. Very little rust on this truck and it has always been parked in a heated station until last Saturday when I bought it. I drove it about 70 miles and it rolls along @ 50 = 55 mph and handles very nicely, I believe this truck could be drive anywhere without a worry but it is a 30 year old truck and sold as-is. I am a Vt licensed used car dealer and I can provide a in-transit plate if you wish to drive it home.
