Offered at no reserve 1989 Ford F-450 Super Duty Rollback or Ramp truck
I have known of this truck since it was about 5 years old and owned by a small local garage. My good friend purchased it in 2000 and did some vehicle scrapping and local towing after work. In 2004 I purchased it from him (with 174,xxx miles) and it has not seen commercial use since then . I used it to move my own projects around as well as some of my friends projects. It is a good running truck but could use some TLC and just needs to be used more than it gets used.
Just before I bought it a REMAN 460 engine (long block) was installed. A few years later a REMAN ZF 5speed transmission was installed(as well as the clutch/clutch slave and clutch master cyl) I also replaced the Emergency brake drum located at the rear of the transmission with a BRAND NEW unit ($1100.00) The truck has a 10,000 lb winch.,, Alcoa 10 lug aluminum wheels with good rubber all around, light bar as well as front strobes and strobe box., recent aluminum tool box. A few years ago I had the drivers floor and rocker professionally repaired. the passenger side rocker could use it now. recent brakes, recent wiper motor, true dual exhaust, recent windshield (does leak during heavy rain) paint job not to great but looks ok from a distance. GVW for the truck is 14,500 Truck is not a show piece so don"t expect one but it is a very handy truck to have around your shop/yard business or home. it"s been great to me.
This truck is priced right for a personal race car hauler for drag cars or what ever you have to move around. I hate to give it up being so used to the convenience of having it but I"m just not using it enough any more and I"m getting rid of the project vehicles that I currently have this one included. Truck drives good I take it 100 miles away to my friends shop when needed but really needs some one to fix it up and take care of it more. It just sits around too much here these days.
