Here we have for your bidding is a 1989 Ford L-8000 tandem axle boom/digger derrick truck. It is powered by a 230Hp Ford engine and a 5 speed automatic transmission. As one can see by the pictures it has very little if any rust, this truck has been used for the last 10 years for the erection of pole barns and steel buildings. Winch at end of boom works great, the boom itself which is a Telelect Model 5000 is capable of 50 feet in height and is tight with very little wear, there are no leaks except one boom outrigger. All lights and gauges are operational, tires are all at or about 60% tread wear remaining as are the brakes. Truck will run and drive anywhere one would want to go with it, we are located 5 miles from the Syracuse airport and will gladly pick up anyone who would want to fly in and drive it home or we can help load on any truck or trailer that one may have.
