I"m selling my 1989 Peterbilt, 379EXHD, its a daily driver.Motor is Big Cam 88, Cummins. All mechanical. 13 speed Eaton trans370 rear ends - Oil has been changed in both rear ends about 6000 miles agoAll 10 aluminum wheels, Budd wheels (11R24.5 on steers, 22.5 rear axles) 63 flattop sleeper with fairings 1500 watt power inverter installed in the cabA/C worksDual Stainless steel Peterbilt Air BreathersDual 150 gal. Oil changed every 10,000 miles New odometer was put it with 0 miles at the same time engine was rebuilt (not peterbilt odometer whoops) Current miles on the engine 299450We dont know the amount of miles on the truck because the odometer was changed before we bought it.
Heres a list of new things we"ve put on this truck since we"ve owned it---
Sliding 5th Wheel, West Lake Steer Tires (about 95% with about 3000 miles on them), Rear tires are all GoodYears, (approx. a little less than 50%) All three Axle Alignment, 100psi Crossfire tire pressure monitors on both rear axles, New Y-pipe, New Brake Foot Valve and Brake Relay Valve on back axles, Horton fan valve, Alternator and Starter, Water Pump, All new fuel lines from the crossover line to the fuel pump, both with shut-offs, Air dryer Filter, Antifreeze with coolant filter, Quarter fenders, also freshly installed was a new Drag link, and Tie rod ends.
The only thing that we"re not happy with on the truck is the two trumpet horns on top of the cab are not loud enough we"ll be changing those soon also.
