Selling a single government owned 1990 Chevrolet K3500 w/ambulance body on it. The truck has 11,982 original miles that is stated actual on title as well as verified by naval base in Virginia where it was used since new. The truck was started every two weeks when it was not being used and serviced on a time schedule. It has a Chevy 6.2L diesel and a three speed automatic transmission. It is also 4x4. Runs very smooth as it should and no rust or any known mechanical issues. It has a 4.10 gear in rear end and shelving and roll out platform in rear. Underside and exhaust is very straight and clean.
Only thing missing that we know of is the passenger side rear view mirror. I will have one that will go with the truck. There are a couple local places that I can get one but as of listing time it wasn"t on the truck. Air is cold and it has original radio. Small tear in driver seat but panels and interior are clean. All lights were working when we put new batteries in it. Truck has 235/85R16. Gear indicator on dash doesn"t move with shifter which is a pretty common thing among these trucks. Easy fix. We just installed two new batteries and new headlights.
Truck could be used as service truck, pipeline truck, utility, etc. It is located in Manchester, TN and is available for inspection during auction any time. I can meet with short notice. I also have included the picture of the requisition sticker that govt had on the truck showing where they paid $29,989 for the truck back in 1990. The title we have is the first title ever issued on this truck and it took approximately eight months to get it and truck. All the hoops you have to jump through with Navy are crazy but it is worth it for a unit with such low mileage.
