Selling my 1990 Chevy C70 Kodiak Crew Cab. This truck was originally a Southern Pacific Railroad fleet vehicle, and currently has 155,XXX original miles. This C70 Runs flawlessly, and starts up every time. Engine has a little less than 1,000 miles on it since being rebuilt. It has an Industrial 5.9L Cummins 12V (P-pump) backed by an Allison MT643 Auto 4spd transmission. All fluids/ Filters changed. Leather seats came from a 2014 Tahoe and fold down. Floors were ground and 2 part epoxy bedliner rolled inside for easy cleaning. Discs on all 4 corners. All gages work: pyrometer, oil pressure, coolant temp, battery voltage, boost, and speedometer. The only gage that does not work is the fuel gage (needs new sender). New KYB shocks installed in the front. New driveshaft carrier bearings. New Aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. New A/C compressor and evaporator installed, and just needs a condenser/ drier hooked up to have A/C. Tires are 295/80R22.5 Michelin XZA2"s in good condition with lots of tread. Handles nicely for a 13,000lb truck and drives straight. Flatbed measures 8ft Wide X 12Ft Long. Since swapping the Cummins the top speed is currently 64mph. To increase top speed new rear end gears will need to be installed. I have receipts for EVERYTHING. Also have original owners manuals and clean title in my name. I included a few pics in the listing of the engine when it was being assembled, and installed. Has class III hitch on, and will include pintle hitch if wanted. This truck is not cosmetically perfect by any means, but will work for many years with little to no issues mechanically. Needs new glass. Any questions feel free to ask. Located in Mesa, Arizona.
Engine Details: New rings (OEM Cummins) , bores honed, milled head, crank journals ground, all new gaskets (OEM Cummins), oversized main bearings (mahle clevite), rod bearings (mahle), cam bearing (mahle), billet aluminum oil squirters, K.D.P. stopper. Bigger turbo compressor wheel (not sure on size). New Bosch injectors.
