1991 International 4700 Bucket truck with HiRanger 40" telescopic booms and single-man bucket and two hydraulic outriggers.
The 1991 International 4170 Utility truck is powered by a DT360 diesel and manual transmission. Engine fires right up and runs smooth. The manual transmission shifts through the gears with ease; clutch feels good. Steering is tight and truck drives straight down the road with no unusual pulling to one side or the other. Brakes are good. Brand new exhaust from the turbo back. Tires are all around 70% tread remaining and virgin rubber.
The HiRanger booms work great with no unusual noises. All functions work like they should. Everything is held steady by two hydraulic outriggers. All powered by air-engaged PTO (no sticky cables). Upper and lower controls.
The body on this truck has the bumps and bruises you would expect on a work truck of this age. All in all it is in good condition, considering what it does for a living. The cab is nearly rust free. The utility body is fiberglass but the metal floor / bed is rusty and has been repaired. The interior of the cab is in good shape. Glass is in good shape with no cracks. You can see that the seat is worn from sliding in and out.
