Hello. We are selling our 1992 Tow truck. This truck is clean. 454 engine and auto transmission runs and drives very smoothly. The wrecker body operates 100%. Push button PTO in the cab works great. The winch operates normally with the free wheel option pulling out smoothly. The truck comes with the slides and strapless scoops. These are a great option on a tow truck because you do not have to worry about strapping down a vehicle. Once it is in the scoops you are good to go. Also included in the sale will be a set of dollies so you can tow the all wheel drive vehicles. Dollies alone are an expensive option. No hydraulic, transmission or engine leaks. This is a very tight and well maintained truck. The Tires are like new. Estimated 90%+ tread wear left. Yellow light bar works great. All the rotators and lights work properly. Seats have no tears. The floorboards under the mats are showing some surface rust that you will want to address right away. Floorboards are definitely salvageable and not rusted through but like I say you will want to sand and paint soon. (There is one small hole under the floor mat that will be easily repaired). All the plastic trim for the door jambs are included. This truck is a great runner. Decent mileage with the 454. You can expect to purchase it and drive it anywhere with no problems. We own Berniers Towing in Beloit WI, I have purchased trucks all over the US and sometimes I worry about the drive home, some times not. If you purchase this truck you will not hesitate to drive it home. We are putting the reserve at $7,000. It is an auction format so hoping for more but if you call and offer 7 it is yours.
