You are looking at a 1992 F-450 flatbed. This truck is powered with the indestructable 7.3L International Diesel hooked to an auto overdrive trans. I am the second owner of the truck. The truck spent its entire life in one yard and never left until it was retired for a newer truck. The truck has been sitting since 2012 and has not run since then. I acquired the truck and did the necessary items to get the truck up and running and yard drivable. I drove the truck around the block but that is about it. The truck mechanically runs great, starts with ease, and shifts. I installed all new fuel return lines and injector caps to take care of the typical issue with these motors. The body is great shape for a truck that sat and has no exterior rot. The paint is typical 1992 work truck but looks good for what it is, faded spots and chips and dings around the truck. There is a small amount of rust on the inside sill of drivers door. The interior is all there and in good work truck shape with the exception of the bottom of bench seat is torn. All of the lights function as they should. The heat works great. The truck has the standard twin fuel tanks and selector switch is operational and both tanks feed the motor perfectly. I like to be as honest as possible as I do not want any surprises when you see the truck. I wanted to keep the truck as a tow vehicle but it is just too big to keep around. Below is a list of items that the truck needs before I would take it on any road trips. Also attached is a video walk around and driving. This is a no reserve auction! Here is a great chance to own a true virgin workhorse. With little effort and money it could be an awesome truck!
Items for consideration:
Tires- Due to the fact the truck sat for so long there is some dry rot on the sidewalls of the tires. The rears are usable but the front I would change sooner then later. All tires have good tread and hold air.
Brakes - The brakes stop the truck but I would go over all the hard lines before any serious driving.
Power steering - Developed a leak after driving the truck for awhile.
