1993 Ford e-350 7.3 L diesel IDI (non-turbo) ambulance utility truck. Was used as ambulance for 2 years, then taken out of service and used as a work truck. It was primarily driven short distances so it only has 83,574 miles on it. Automatic transmission.
Solid well-made engine, runs great. Would make a fabulous work truck, toy hauler or could be converted into a camper. Has new tires, brake lines, tensioner belt; recently had a coolant flush and oil change. Tons of interior cabinets, plus exterior storage cabinets with beautiful aluminum diamond plate and secured with heavy Master locks. Custom trailer hitch on the back. Box has a new ultra-durable vinyl plank floor that will last for years. The seats in the box even fold up for additional storage. We’ve been told the outlets work if you hook up to shore power (although we’ve never tried this ourselves). The under carriage is in very good shape, with the usual amount of rust you’d expect in a 1993 vehicle, but not excessive rust. The box is aluminum and so won’t rust —also because it’s an ambulance, it’s built to last.
Side mirror on passenger side is cracked but can easily be replaced. Seal was re-done between the cab and the box. A few cabinets in the box do not have their locking mechanisms anymore but could easily be secured or replaced. The ventilation system works in the back, but not A/C or heat. All in all this is an outstanding vehicle that has been well cared for.
