For sale is my 1993 GMC W 5500 Diesel tow truck with only 155,100 miles , that"s nothing for an Isuzu diesel , It has an Isuzu 6 cylinder Turbo diesel engine that gives me excellent mileage . Also it has a 19 feet long wedge body with 2 heavy duty ramps that slide under the rear of the body , bed has signs of wear and tear but it does the job great with no issues . Badlands 12,000 pounds winch with HD cable and hooks . Truck has 2 new HD diesel batteries . New spare tire . Also it has a Hydraulic wheel lift that needs a new cylinder seal , I never used the lift myself , and that"s what the previous owner told me . The truck starts , idles , drives and runs excellent , it starts below 20 F with no problem and it runs cool in summer with no issues , also it has an excellent steering turning radius that you can make a U turn at any intersection . It was just fully serviced with 15w40 Rotella diesel oil , new oil , fuel and air filters .It doesn"t leak or burn oil . It has a working A/C , radio ,roof vent , engine block heater , roof marking lights , front bumper hooks , P/S , P/B , all gauges and parking brake work . It has a 5 speed manual tranny and the Isuzu engine has a good working whistly turbo . I did a complete brake job last fall , new rotors , drums , wheel cylinders , pads and shoes , etc . It passed NYS inspection and it is ready to work or for pleasure like I use it for , just to move my toys around . What the truck needs is the shifter linkeage adjustment or bushings or something there , sometimes it is hard to shift and also it needs a new shut off selenoid or just add a pull cable and it will do it , for now I shut it off manually . Truck is in good used condition and don"t expect a new truck , with just a few things to take care it is an excellent flat bed that can carry 2 cars at once . I have driven the truck to PA , NJ , upstate NY and Kentucky with no problems so fly or drive here and drive it home . Mileage may change due I regularly drive it . No CDL needed to drive this truck . Please ask any questions before you bid and bid only if you are going to complete the transaction .
