1994 CHEVROLET 454c.i. [ 7.4 Liter ] fuel injected, Cab Over , Hodges Ramp Truck , Car Hauler .This is a Tennessee truck having minimal surface rust on Hodges deck.
I have owned this truck for about going on 3 years . I bought it from Tennessee , this is a southern vehicle. It is really clean underneath on frame rails and brake fuel lines like that ,
the bottom side of deck has some surface rust . Has 2 large tool boxes ,one on each side of truck with locking doors , It is a 4 speed automatic with overdrive .It has a 70 gallon fuel tank.while driving on flat land at between 50 and 55mph ,I can get about 16 - 18 miles per gallon , unloaded . While driving down to South Carolina from New York going up and climbing mountains I had gotten 9.7 miles per gallon , unloaded . Driving this loaded from South Carolina to New York I had gotten 9.85 miles per gallon , again going up and climbing mountains . This had a newly installed transmission just before I purchased this car hauler , you can tell by looking at it also. It had no trouble climbing steep inclines of these mountains on the way to South Carolina and back.unloaded and loaded ., just drop down a gear and go up that mountain at 60 mph. I can attest to it . It has a Winch . It has deck LED lights, which are not hooked up , It has LED brake , tail , turn , side marker lights . Coil over with air ride suspension .Pull out ramps.I had installed additional driving lights , and fog lights which I have not hooked up yet .The air conditioning needs a recharge . Drives straight as an arrow ,and ran well ,Cruise control is a blessing on long trips and worked well also. I drove it 750 miles , stopped to piss twice , and refueled , total of two times . on the way back it was the same . I run 15w-40w Rotella motor oil with STP oil treatment . The total length of this truck from head to toe is 28"6 , The tires on this vehicle along with 2 spares on rims are the ribbed type , which are 225/70R-19.5 The length of car hauler deck is 20"2 long and 8" wide. The Gross Vehicle weight Rate is 14,500 , a picture of federal sticker is here for you to see. This was called a rebuilt vehicle in Tennessee because of being purchased as a chassis vehicle . when I purchased it ,I had to bring it to DMV to get checked out . DMV then issued me a salvage title , The title is clear ,I purchased this truck from a dealer from Tennessee .and the truck was rebuilt by Hodges. The deck has 8 tie down points ,2 for each of your 4 wheels , 4 more tie down points , being 2 for each axle , a total of 12 tie down points, I will require a deposit of $200.00 , which will be a non refundable deposit .Due to the nature of how big this truck is ,it would be difficult to transport it , but it may be able to be done . It would be best if you drove it to your destination., I can drive it anywhere near to me for transport if need be .Contact me threw eBay questions for any other information regarding this vehicle you may need to know
