We at CAMPBELL BROTHERS AUTO SALES INC. are offering for sale this 1994 CHEVROLET KODIAK LO PRO powered by a CATERPILLAR 3116 DIESEL ENGINE and 6-SPEED TRANSMISSION which is equip with a 19 FOOT CENTURY ALUMINUM BED, WINCH and WHEEL LIFT. We purchased this truck from a local franchise dealer who used it to transport their vehicles. They purchased this carrier new and it has not been used for recovery work or public hire. The Kodiak chassis is in good condition. The paint has fade and the clear coat on the hood is peeling. The is rust around the tail light boxes and lever covers only. The frame and chassis are solid and in good condition. The CATERPILLAR DIESEL runs well and the 6-speed transmission shifts smooth. The Century Aluminum Bed, WHEEL LIFT, and WINCH operate very well. If fact I just used it this week. The front tires have decent tread however the left front has weather cracks. Two of the rear tires are in good condition and the other two are fair to poor. With that said the tires appear to be safe to drive. The interior is in fair condition, no cracks in seat or excessive wear. Overall this is a good running and operating tow truck that will not break your wallet. It should still have several good years of service remaining. EXTERIOR: The truck still looks good but not new. It is 21 years old so there is some peeling, fade, surface rust, etc. . All of the aluminum is in good condition but could used to be polished. As mentioned above there is rust around the tail light boxes, lever shrouds, and tool box. It will be easy to repair and effects nothing. Overall it is an older tuck, but a good older truck.
INTERIOR: Clean and in fair condition.
DRIVE TRAIN: Starts, runs, drives, and operates well. 3 tires are good, 2 tires are fair, and 1 tire is poor. Overall this should make someone a good and inexpensive tow truck.
