1994 Chevy K3500 4x4 twin line wrecker. 454 engine, 5-speed transmission, Silverado trim, 4:10 gear ratio, possi traction rear with 1997 vulcan 882 twin line hydraulic wrecker with wheel lift. Comes with J-hooks, safety chains, drag lights and strapless wheel scoops.
This truck has been owner driven for the last 15 years, but the truck has become fairly rusted (rocker panels, fenders, doors, etc). Truck runs good, passed Mass inspection November 2016, 4wd works good and the boom is in good working order. The truck is being sold as a fixer-upper only because of the rust and some minor mechanical issues that need to be addressed. A/C not currently working (compressor leaks), front brake rotors are in poor condition and left lower ball joint has some minor play. A few years ago, I replaced the two cross-members that hold in the fuel tank, noticed that the left frame rail just ahead of the spring was getting thin. I reinforced that area with some brand new frame rail stock to support it. It has held just fine and shows no signs of failure. Front frame horns behind the front bumper were also plated due to rust.
All lettering is vinyl and company identifying lettering will be removed upon sale.
The truck would be a good back up truck or a good starter truck. Still has plenty of work in it.
