I have owned this rollback as a personal vehicle for the last 7 years averaging 1,000 miles per year. Needless to say I do not drive it enough to justify keeping it. It was purchased new by a small body shop before me and he used it only for his repair jobs. Mileage is correct 54,188 miles.
Truck is a 1995 3500HD Silverado grade interior with a gvw of 15k on the tag. The working gvw is actually much higher. The heaviest single item that I carried was a 8,500 forklift and it handled it just like it was a 3500 pound car, grossing 21.5k. It is a very strong pulling truck.
Rollback bed is 19" long manufactured by Godwin Manufacturing in Dunn, NC. They have been building dump bodies for over 50 years and rollback bodies for 30 years. The rollbacks have bronze bushing rollers down the frame instead of teflon slides to support the weight of the rolling bed.
