This van body truck until a few weeks ago was owned by a local rural health system here in Mississippi, was taken out of service and replaced with a new one about a year ago, has sat idle not being used since then. We purchased the truck directly from them, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning it into cash. After purchasing we cranked it, drove it about 50 miles, put some freon in the air conditioner, washed it and photographed for eBay. The van body truck cranks right up on its own power, engine and transmission run and shift properly, brakes and air conditioner work. The driver’s side door panel is off and has a few clips/brackets that are broke, the front end is out of alignment bad, the tires are wore out – the back are bad but not as bad as the front – the front tires hold air but are slick – need to be replaced before driving a long distance – hard to believe the hospital system allowed and employee to drive with the tires in that bad of shape, the van body has some type wrap – tape – overlay on it obviously done when they got it from u-haul years ago – part of it is peeling off, the hood is bent in the upward position half way down on the passenger side – looks like someone tried to force hood closes and bent, the hood has to be propped up with a stick, the bid 460-V8 gas engine has an exhaust leak and can be heard in the video, we would also suggest a good servicing/lubing from one end to the other because it sit not being used for some time, new tires, new wiper blades and may have to replace a few light bulbs, etc. We are selling the van body truck with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, drive down the road although we would suggest a good servicing before traveling too far and some new tires are a must, it is selling regardless of price, please remember it is over 20 years old, does crank and run, is not running hot, blowing or burning oil or anything like that, seems to still have plenty of life left in it!
