This 20 year old, low mileage, F-350 cab-n-chassis with a McCoy-Miller ambulance box on the back is a rare beast with a good background.
I bought it in 2012 here on Ebay originally as a mobile business vehicle. It had a mere 132,100 miles on it.
Since then it has seen use as a camper and a hauler.
I made it up as a zombie hunter vehicle for fun and as an ice breaker at campgrounds and going to Burning Man.
It has gone to Burning Man successfully 4 times. The last 3 while towing my 17" travel trailer.
I have decorated it at Halloween and been the hit of the neighborhood.
As you can see in the pictures, it can haul quite a load! Including a pallet full of boxed water!!
And it can tow a car trailer with a 2 ton passenger car on it.
The 7.3liter turbo diesel will out pull the V10 Ford puts in their modern trucks!
In the 4 years and 26,000 miles I have owned it, I have had the following maintenance/repairs/stuff installed to it;
All 6 tires.
Steering stabilizer.
Passenger door lock retainer clip and gasket.
Headlight bulb retainer ring.
Fuel filter.
Brake/cruise control recall by Ford.
A/C recharged.
Roof rack.
Complete front steering rebuild and alignment.Rear spring air bags replaced.
Trailer hitch with wiring and brake controller
Front and rear shocks.
High pressure fuel line.
Fuel pump and fuel lines.Waterpump, belts, thermostat and coolant.
Jasper heavy duty transmission and oil cooler.
Oil and filter changes have been done every 4500 miles.
A double sized mattress will fit in the back of this for camping. And there is enough onboard storage for 2 to camp a week in the wilderness!
The A/C power inverter works and I converted all the 12v plugs to automotive style for charging cell phones.
Though all the wiring and switches for the lights are still in place, by California law I had to remove the red lights and the flashing lights from the front. The siren was long gone before I bought it.
The only 2 issues would be that I have not gotten the air horns to work again and the door locks on the rear box are failing (which is why I have been putting padlocks on it). The air pump system is still in place and works, but there is something wrong in the wiring to it.
I do have this listed locally and may pull this ad if I get a local buyer.
