1995 Ford F800 Altec D945 BR Boom Digger Truck
This truck is a repossession and therefore I do not know a lot about the history of the unit. I ENCOURANGE ANY POTENTIAL BUYERS TO INSPECT THE TRUCK PRIOR TO PURCHASE. THE TRUCK WILL BE SOLD AS IS WHERE IS.
Up for sale is a 1995 Ford F800 Altec boom digger truck. Please look at all pictures closely for condition. The mileage on the truck shows to be 171,443, but the title states exempt.
Here is the story that I was given by a former employee of the company that I repossessed the truck from. The truck was used at an electric coop to load and unload utility poles. The digger unit was not operational, but the boom / lift worked good. The keys were lost, so an employee tried to bypass the ignition. He was unsuccessful in his attempt, and the ignition has not been put back together. I do have the keys and all the parts I believe are necessary to reassemble the ignition. I’m not a mechanic, but am guessing that if the ignition were put back together and the batteries were charged that the truck would run. The truck was towed to its present location, so please consider this when purchasing it as I cannot guarantee that it will run.
