You are bidding on a 1995 Freightliner FL 70 Rollback. The truck has the following options. 300hp Non-emissions Caterpillar diesel, 9 speed transmission, air ride, air dump, Air PTO shift, air drivers seat, 2 passenger bench seat with storage, Air differential posi traction locker, heated mirrors, air conditioning and cruise control. The truck has a 4 ft. stationary headache rack, and 20ft rollback body with removable side rails. I am not sure of the body manufacturer, it was installed before we purchased it, and I have not been able to find an ID plate.
Our company purchased the truck in August of 2013 for the purpose of towing 4 door long bed diesel pick ups, and it serves its purpose well. We are selling the truck to purchase a new truck this year for tax. purposes. You will not find anything other than some minor surface flake rust anywhere on the chassis or body. The truck runs very well, the only known issue is that on occasion the tachometer will quit working for a minute of so, then kicks back in. It probably needs to be replaced. Other than that the truck is used daily and ready to work the day you get it home. If you are looking for a low mileage, non-emissions truck this is it.
Since owning the truck, it has had the following maintenance / repairs.
-Oil change, fuel and air filters every 8,000 miles
-Bed slide cylinder rebuilt, June 2014 ( Bo"s Hydraulic Service)
-1 injector and injector oil feed tube, Aug. 2014 (Carter Caterpillar)
- New clutch Kit, Dec 2015 (Callands Diesel Repair)
All repair records, and receipts are available. You are more than welcome to come our company and inspect / drive the truck before you bid. I have described the truck the best that I can. Please realize that you are not purchasing a new truck. You will find things consistent with the trucks age.
