You are bidding on a 1995 GMC C3500 one ton Cab & Chassis up-fitted with a Knapheid Utility Service Body. The truck is an SL Trim level with cloth seats and is equipped with a 6.5 liter turbo-diesel engine and an automatic transmission. The starter and flywheel are brand new on this unit but when started it made a lot of noise. It was discovered that there was roughly a gallon and a half of coolant in the crank case which indicates either a cracked or warped head or a blown head gasket or a combination of the two. It may also indicate a cracked block but these blocks were pretty bullet proof so I doubt that to be the case.
The utility body is in perfect shape and all doors, latches, hinges and locks operate properly. Bed has spray in non-skid surfaces. Exterior dimensions: 98 length X 78 width X 37 height. Interior bed dimensions: 97 X 48.5 X 23. Roof-top mounted rotating amber warning beacon.
This unit is being offered completely as-is/where-is with no warranty as to condition or runability and mostly for the value of the body. A new Knapheid utility body like this will run in the mid $5,000 range. Pickup at dealer location only!
