The Good
This truck is a rare find with 68,000 miles. We have replaced the drive belt and battery in the last week, and drove it around the farm. It has a clean interior, which is relatively new looking. It has a strong 350 engine. The truck is not currently registered, but has clean title, all lights and breaks work, and its inspectable. Motivated seller.
The Bad
It was used by our company for a short while but has been parked for the last year after repeated fixing of the power steering. After getting a different mechanic we found the previous mechanic had ripped us off by jerry rigging the broken PS hoses with hose clamps, which we will point out. The factory repair part costs 215.00. If you arrange it before pick up, we can fix it before you get here for a truck that you can take down the road. The rear lift gate is worth 2000 but doesn"t currently work, the lift/lower button appears to be seized.
The Bottom Line
We"d have probably never replaced this truck if we new what the problem was before hand. Other ads for this model and year with four times the mileage list at four or five thousand.
