This is my personal 1995 GMC Kodiac. This was never a tow truck or for hire. I use this truck occasionally for my race cars and motorcycles. Engine is the popular Caterpillar 3116 with unbreakable 6 speed transmission. Religiously maintained. Only Rotella 10w-40 synthetic blend with Lucas oil stabilizer. One cylinder started to leak so I had all of the cylinders resealed. Jerr-Dan 27" steel bed in excellent shape with winch. 14" aluminum upper deck that is like brand new with winch. Never had a car on the upper deck, just used it as a viewing platform at the races. Independent wheel was rarely used to haul a motorcycle. All hydraulics are in excellent condition and have no leaks whatsoever. All the pivot pins are solid with no play including wheel lift. This is far from a sloppy, wore out truck. The interior is like new. No greasy hands or dirty clothing in my truck. Added air seat to driver side. Aftermarket stereo. Cold air conditioning. Wheels are 22.5. Steer tires are 90%, rear tires are brand new. All newer brakes approximately 500 miles on them. The best thing is they are hydraulic, no need for air brake cert. It"s impossible to find another truck of this caliber, 3 owners, original paint, highly maintained, only 186K miles! Everything works and runs as it should. Needs nothing for a long, long time. My stomach is in knots as I write this ad because I know I will never get another truck like this. I simply don"t use this truck enough to keep it.
