Up for sale is my 1995 GMC C7000 Forestry bucket truck with a 366/6.0 liter gas V8 and Eaton 5 speed transmission, LRV 3 boom 55foot platform height and a 60 foot work height and Chipper dump. Brush Chipper is a Bandit 90(9 inch capacity) with a 37 hp 4 cylinder gas Wisconsin engine, model year unknown. I think it"s a mid 90"s model. Hours unknown, no hour meter. Both have been used daily in a tree service that I run. Selling only to upgrade. Truck and chipper are not perfect but still in good operational condition. A cheap all in one solution for starting or expanding a tree business. Clean title for truck, Chipper does not have title.
Bucket truck items that could be fixed: again we have ran this truck for 2 and 1/2 years just like it is.
-Pony motor needs wires, coil and distributor to run. I like running the pto off the truck engine.
-speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and battery meter do not function(actual miles unknown)
-doors could use a little attention.
-Clutch replacement.
-PTO leaks a little
-Two tires need replaced($300.00 a piece)
Bucket truck good
-New clutch cable
-New battery,
-New fluid in transmission, differential and radiator.
-Recent engine and oil filter change.
-Both rear and one front brake replaced(new rotors, pads, seals and calipers) replaced this year
-One new stabilizer cylinder from Altec($2500.00) replaced this year.
-Two new tires replaced with in the last 2 years.
-Electric winch has been added to front of truck.(We have pulled lots of big trees away from houses with this)
Chipper is a gas hog but chips great, could use a new set on knifes($180.00 from Bandit)
Daily greasing and maintenance kept up with. Recently replaced both tires. Extra set of knives come with chipper.
This chipper is more than double the chipper if you use a 6, the duel feeds wheels really help pull material into the chipper.
Chipper is a self feed, but not an auto feed model. Chipper does seem to have a dead spot in the starter(may be due to needing a battery). Not sure what replacement cost would be. I think it is because the starter has to work hard to turn the engine over because this chipper is a clutch-less design. Yes clutch-less. These are great nothing you don"t need chippers. No computer junk. Easy to work if you ever have to.
Truck and chipper are for sale locally. Listing may be cancelled at any time with out notice.
Buy it now requires an immediate deposit of $500.00(non refundable) Remainder due in cash or cashiers check upon vehicle pick up.
