This 1995 International 4800 ARFF RIV airport response truck is 4x4, that is AWD at the flip of a switch. It has the International DT466 diesel engine. Starting at the front bumper, this truck has a 300 gmp Akron water cannon with an attached spot light, it joystick controlled from the cab. Flip of the switch to go from a column of water being shot, to a fan spray pattern. In a 180 degree coverage . In the front bumper is an electric winch capable of winching small planets. Under the bumper are located a row of runway lights.Under the hood, the DT466 is clean running, with no known issues. Just been serviced. There is a belt driven generator on the engine that provides 120v. for running the removable site lights on the truck.In the cab, seating for 2. SCBA bracket between the seats, behind the operating console.Outback is an E one engineered ARFF. It has an independent Perkins 4.236T. Waterous CL500 500 gpm pump, running 175 psi. This allows the truck to be primed and ready to go when you pull up on scene. There is a 500 gallon poly water tank and a 65 gallon poly foam tank. Electric reels for the power cord and the spray gun. 500 lbs dry chemical system on board, Nitrogen charged, with on-board Nitrogen tank storage.There"s an 1.5 inch crosslay plumbed with cover. Deploy from the passenger side of the truck. Covered hose storage with quick deploy to the rear. There is a rubber hose cover that protects the hose ends. Fold up/down steps to access the top of the bed. Plenty of room on top.All lights work, inside and outside. The emergency response Whelan system works. New tires all a round. New batteries.
