Up for Sale is our 1995 Kenworth W900 86 inch Studio Sleeper. 12.7 Detroit with 10 spd Eaton trans. If you’re looking for a flawless truck you should probably buy new but if you’re looking for a dependable well taken care of used truck that will provide you with many years of good service than this for you. We have had this truck since 2003-4 and the operator in charge of it was on top of service and repairs (down time cost us money). The truck was replace with a new truck 25 days ago due to California new emission requiring us to run 2010 and up vehicles. If it wasn’t for the new law this truck would have remained our service. It has recently passed its D.O.T and had service approximately 2500 miles ago (oil, filters, valves adjusted). This truck is ready for work and should have no issues going across country.
The truck is equipped with heated mirrors, air windows, ac, cd, flat screen TV, power inverter, double bunks, rear heater, rear speakers, refrigerator and microwave. All options work with the exception of cruise control speedometer control (we replaced trans sensor but may be the sensor in dash)
Engine: Detroit 60 series 12.7. We have most maintenance records from 2008 on. Oil was always changed on schedule with two gallons of lucus at every change. We had an in frame at approximately 500k (still looking for receipt but may be archived). Engine fires right up and runs as it should. No excessive blow by or smoke. Jake brake recently serviced. Recently passed dot. On cold startups there is exhaust smoke for about 15-20 seconds and clears right up. Fleet mechanic diagnosed a seal an injector but driver said it had been that way for 8 months and has never given him any issues so we left it alone. Just had it looked over by my fleet mechanic who gave it a thumbs up. Only thing he pointed out:
Minor oil leak at pan gasket but passable.
Small Leak at ac high pressure but holding pressure-if we have time we will fix
5th wheel slider toggle switch loose but still functional
Body and chassis: The body is in good shape with older imron paint. Paint is in fair condition and will still buff to shine. There are multiple chips/scratches as expected for a working truck but looks as it does in pictures. The two area around headlights and left fender have had rock chips touched up but could be matched better (see Pict). Chrome is in good shape all around with the exception of front grill (broken fin worn chrome) and front bumper (other driver backed into bumper). Replacing front bumper and grill would really make this truck stand out but still functional as is. Undercarriage looks great. California truck so no signs of rust. Aluminum in good shape but could use good polish. One broken bracket lower step battery bracket. Overall looks good. See Pict.
Interior: Interior is in good shape for age. Nonsmoker truck, Orig diamond tuck looks great. Front seats recently reupholstered. Carpet is stained (small rip on heal pad). Dash and plastic looks good. Rear heater and speaker controls all function. Back cabinets in good shape but one or two could use a new hasp. Overall interior is in great shape for age and is nicer than most but it is not in new in any way. Has flaws here and there but overall is nice. Looks as it does in picts. Has all original covers and curtains in good shape. Flat screen mounted above walk thru with hdmi inputs,
Tires and steering. truck steers well. Has 24.5 inch rims. Steer tires are Toyo with about 9/32 -10/32 with some cupping on inside left and drive tires are iron man between 8-10/32.

Would like to see this one go to a good home. Truck is available in Los Angeles area. I can pick you up at airport if you fly into LAX or Long beach. However, I am leaving for east coast on 2-13 to 2-27 and will not be able to complete transaction between those dates. So before 2-13 or after 2-27.
