This truck is the best starting truck that I have ever started in the winter time. The truck sat for about 3 weeks in 0- 10 degrees weather this last winter and would start on the first revolution of the engine.
The engine and transmission are very tight and no smoking.
I don"t think you will find a 1996 truck that is drier than this one.
The floor boards on most truck this age are completely rusted through. This one is very solid. The floors and cab are very solid.
The utility bed has rust here and there with the left side of the bed floor having rust through. It looks like an air compressor or something was mounted there and battery acid ate through the checker plate. The bed could be repaired with a small piece of checker plate and would paint up nice.
The underside structural support are still in very good shape.
Compartment bottoms are still in good shape, however the bottom lips of a couple of the doors are rusty and need some bondo.
Last annual vehicle inspection was performed on August of 2016. Next inspection would have been due on August 2017.
5 huge compartments on left side of truck and 3 on right side. Front box on right side is set up for 3 torch bottles and torch hose.
This truck starts right up and sounds, runs and drives great.
Truck has normal wear, tear, rust, dents and dings that would be expected on a 1996 truck.
You are welcome to come and look at this truck, or have your mechanic look at it. If you can"t make it to come and look at the truck, don"t be afraid to bid on it what you think it is worth, because if for ANY reason you don"t like the truck when you come to pick it up, you won"t be obligated to take it and there will be no negative feedback left.
You don"t have to pay for the truck until AFTER you look at it.
