Urban stealth camper ! Sewer inspection ! Toy hauler !
Fresh out of service from the City of El Cajon, this 1996 Ford E350 box truck was outfitted by RS Technical of Petaluma, CA, for city sewer inspection. I am no expert but everything appears to be there with the exception of the computer interface which records images and information to hard drive.
The exterior of this vehicle is in great shape with NO damage, no dents, no dings, etc. Paint is in good shape (I can have it painted any single stage color for $1,000 extra) as is the body. This thing would look practically new with a full exterior detail and polishing of the diamond plate. The tires are near new with lots of tread. Singles in the front, duals in the rear. Exterior features amber beacons front and rear, and directional indicators front and rear. Also features 2 500 watt flood lights in the rear for night work. White water tank and gray water tank are mounted on driver side of box, covered with diamond plate, and 6500 watt Onan Commercial generator is on passenger side of box, also covered with diamond plate. Roof air unit is, obviously, on the roof and works properly.
The cab of the truck is in great shape, save for about a 3 inch split on the driver seat along the seam. Otherwise, no stains, rips, or odors. Air conditioning is working properly. Behind the cab is the control room for the camera system. There is a monitor, VCR, computer monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, heater, Dayton charger, padded benches with storage, and overhead storage compartments in this area.
The rear of the truck houses the camera equipment, reel, tool box with lots of spare parts, sink with cabinets and storage, and more overhead storage. 2 cameras are included with this system. Also in the rear is a washdown hose on a reel for cleaning the equipment. Again, no funny or foul odors in back of this truck.
If you are in the inspection business you can replace the computer and be on your merry way making MONEY. All with a 15k mile truck which was city maintained and should last you many years to come. If not, this van is a great start for a camper or toy hauler - the white water plumbing and grey tank are already there, as is the super reliable Onan commercial generator.
