This is a freightliner classic. This has a detroit 12.7 60 series turbo diesel engine .
The engine operated with good power and no abnormal noises or problems.
The engine oil pan leaked to a drip.
The interior has a grey cloth with a condo type sleeper. Two bunks with plastic storage cabinets on each sides.
Successful recent test drives. The engine cranked and operated normally. The power steering operated normally. The 10 speed manual transmission and clutch operated normally.
The speedometer did not work and no mileage was accumulated during the approximately eight miles of test drive.
The left inner door panel has dings and such. The interior is dirty. The interior drivers sunvisor has an interior panel that is broken.
The front left tire has 15/32 of tread. The right front tire has 14/32 of tread left. The right rear pulling front axle tires have 12/32 10/32 6/32 and 9/32 of tread left.
The exterior air filter cannister has some minor dents.
The left and right fuel tanks are 100 gallon aluminum. The front axle is a 12,000 lb rated axle. The rear drive axles are eaton with an air bag suspension.
The right passenger door opens and closes normally. The air compressor pumps up quickly and efficiently.
The air brakes operates as designed. The lighting operated as designed. The chrome muffler stacks operated as designed.
The dash air conditioner operated as designed.
This is a unit that shows some wear and tear and needs some work.
