NISSAN UD 1400 BILLBOARD TRUCK
We have used this truck for advertising and all kinds of events for the past 7 years. It has served us well but it is time to move on to bigger and better things.
THE BASICS
Nissan UD 1400 cab over truck
Strong Diesel engine
107,000 miles believed to be original (it had 80,000 miles on it when we bought it 7 years ago)
JUST the billboard measures 10" tall and 20" long!
Made with thick steel panels, very solid construction compared to most.
GENERATOR/LIGHTING
Honda EU6500is (purchased new in 2009 for $4200, about 2 months ago I had the entire unit gone thru and replaced inverter unit (most expensive part of generator).
We had a special cradle built for the generator so for one, it would stay put and two, it is locked in place with master locks for extra security.
The truck is mounted with a total of 12 lights that are 100 watts each. You can see the billboard from very far away they are extremely bright!!!!
The actual light housing and bulbs are easily replaceable if one gets broken or burned out.
You will see one light missing and one light in which the bulb is burnt out. This will be fixed before the sale of the truck.
ELECTRIC/VENTING
We had a licensed electrician wire up everything, from the switches to the fans.
We installed two louvered vents that pulls fresh air from the outside into the billboard cavity, then installed a fan on the back door that pushes the exhaust/hot air out. Works perfectly.
We installed a battery tender, so all you have to do is lift the battery door and plug it in. Never have to worry about a dead battery.
TIRES/WHEELS
ALL of the tires are brand new. Heavy wall commercial grade to handle this heavy truck.
Custom chrome wheels/caps
EXTERIOR OF THE TRUCK
The exterior of the truck is simply a vinyl wrap. With a heat gun it can be removed, OR, you can simply wrap over the existing wrap.
You will see the rear corners cut. We noticed that in certain incline situations, one corner or the other had a tendency to slightly rub the pavement. So we had a welder cut the corners and this cured the problem for good.
As I mentioned above, the generator can be locked to the floor of the truck, but we added two deadbolt locks on the rear door for extra security. Being able to lock the truck up securely allows you to park it and run it with the lights on and not have to worry.
RECORDS/HISTORY
I have service records from the day we owned it. I have receipts from all the scheduled oil changes, fluids, etc. I have the receipts for the generator. I have the receipts for the tires, etc.
This truck has never seen rain or snow since we have owned it. It has always been garaged in a storage unit when not in use.
I HAVE VIDEOS OF THE TRUCK AND GENERATOR RUNNING. JUST MESSAGE ME WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND I WILL SEND THEM TO YOU.
I HAVE TITLE IN HAND.
