Looking at a 1996 377 Peterbilt with a 63 inch unibilt sleeper. Powered by 3406E Cat 475 HP with an Eaton 9SP transmission. New clutch installed by Peterbilt along with all new linkages and a transmission service. $4000 just for that. Truck runs weekly around 2200-2800 miles and we go all over the states. was recently in Texas and then to NY from there. Drive tires are around 75% STEERS ARE BRAND BEW. Truck was aligned after steers were installed.truck runs out strong and rides smooth as almost all petes do as far as ride. Had the truck over 2 years and been a good solid truck just looking to get into newer truck for certain jobs that require it.Truck has 1.5 million on it,Engine had overhaul before we got it at 1 million. no paper work but can come look,listen and tell it has been. dont smoke, dont lug, has great oil pressure for a cat and pulls hard. listed below are a few more things...
-Some gauges dont work on the dash. rear axle temps, tranny temp, fuel gauge works sometimes and others not.-WORKING Guages--RPM,Boost,Air intake,Manifolds, temps, PSI, speedo, Air Suspension, trip counter,Battery,alternator, -Rear brakes 60% Front Brakes New-New clutch installed by Peterbilt-Driver side fuel tank has a dent in it from a lady backing into the truck-Engine runs strong, little blowby and a drip here or there. @52psi Oil pressure when warm and running.-BUNK is in good condition, all lights work, all drawers are there and work properly. -New air compressor in 10/2015-new alternator 8-2015-couple exterior blems which were all there when we purchased see Pics-Driver seat torn but still comfortable to sit in-Straight Bumper added in front (Dented one in some pics has been removed)- im sure there is more but that is the vast majority of details.
