This is an awesome vehicle. We bought it and converted it into a traveling RV for camping. It was great for 2 adults and a child, but we adopted a second child from China and it is now too small.
It is a 1997 Ford E350 Class III ambulance with a 7.3 liter diesel with an automatic transmission. This type of vehicle prefers to run, but we are not able to use it regularly. It requires love to get started right now, but runs like a champ. This would make a great work vehicle or a small RV. Please note that the new owner should be willing to invest some work to get the vehicle running consistently and dependably. As a diesel, it still has many miles left in it"s life.
Features:We put a bunk bed in the back, but if you don"t need it, you can unhook the clips and it swings down to a cushioned back to the bench. There is a ton of space - many different bins and boxes to accept all kinds of stuff. There is a land line that allows you to plug into a power plug and power the electical system. A giant inverter keeps electrical outlets in the back to have power while on the road.
History:The vehicle was first an ambulance. Then it was a work truck for a home contractor (the saw on the side was introduced then). We bought it from a couple that rarely used the vehicle. We used it as an RV for out of town vacations. My wife said that we should create memories for our son - I don"t think he will ever forget the time we spent in the ambulance RV.
Vehicle should be picked up near Eagle, WI.
