The Quakertown Fire Company is offering for sale a 1997 Ford E350 / Braun ERV ambulance. The Quakertown Fire Company purchased this ambulance in 2009/2010 from a neighboring volunteer first aid squad for frontline service while refurbishment of another ambulance took place. When the primary ambulance returned to service, this ambulance was designated the second out / back up ambulance. Prior to entering service, this ambulance went through a light refurbishment and repaint at a reputable emergency vehicle / heavy truck shop.
Refurbishment included new paint, lettering and striping, all new emergency and scene lighting, new interior floor in patient compartment.
This ambulance has been maintained on a regular preventative maintenance schedule by emergency vehicle maintenance specialists. Maintenance records are available for review. Additional pictures are available upon request.
· All portable equipment and radios will be removed prior to sale.
· Emergency lighting and lettering will be removed prior to sale if vehicle is sold to a non-emergency service individual, organization or business.
· The Quakertown Fire Company reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
· The purchaser will be responsible for pickup and delivery of this vehicle.
· Full purchase price shall be provided to the Quakertown Fire Co within 10 business days of notification of purchasing the vehicle.
