We are a sign company that has used this bucket truck for about 4 years. We purchased as the third owner from a car dealership in Maine. The truck was originally owned by an electrical company then sat on a used car dealership lot for a little while before being sold to us. The truck has all new batteries. The boom works on two batteries and can charge while running. The truck needs a little TLC and has the following issues.
1. The boom hydraulic pump needs to be replaced. It has a tendency to cease up and we tap it with a hammer to get it working again. 2. It originally had two gas tanks but we removed one due to rust issues. 3. The gas tank is has is leaking near the top of the tank when the tank is full and probably needs to be replaced. 4. It needs a new state inspection. 5. The hood pop handle is missing. 6. Lost the keys to the tool boxes so it"s permanently unlocked6. Has a good amount of rust.
The above items are not hard to fix but we are ready to get a newer truck and don"t want to spend the money on repairs. The engine was replaced about a year and a half ago and seems to be working well. The truck has never had any transmission issues.
