Up for sale is my 1997 F-800 forestry bucket truck.
The truck was converted by Altec it has an altec chip box and boom. It is in great shape for the year the only reason for sale is we updated. The truck runs good and shifts good. The transmission and engine were overhauled less then 10k miles ago. I have receipts to prove. 50 foot boom

Under CDL weight 26,000 the truck has hydraulic brakes. Everything works as it should. I recently put over 3k in suspension work into this truck it has all new leaf stacks all the way around new front shocks, tie rod, king pins, wheel bearings, and drag link. The steer tires are over 90% virgin tires, the drivers side rears are over 90% Merigoni caps, and the passenger side rears are 70%. Drive shafts and universals were replaced this year.
HydraulicsThe PTO and PTO pump were replaced 2 years ago and most of the lines going up to the boom have been recently replaced. Truck comes with a spare bucket that needs to be repaired.
The truck has no pitting or bad rust spots on the frame or cab it is in great shape rust wise.
The badThe truck has an exhaust leak at the turbo that needs to be fixed and the underside of the dump body starting rotting from the inside out it has a few small holes in it, I did put 2 new sheets of 1/8 thick plate on the inside so the body is in decent shape and ready to work
