1998 GMC Fire and Rescue Truck. I purchased this from a small volunteer fire department as they had replaced it with a new unit. This vehicle is in exceptional condition and I just finished a 200 mile round-trip with the truck. All the amenities work including strobe lights and light bar. The federal Q2B siren works well with foot plunger on passenger-side and brake button accessible to the driver. Vehicle has hand crank windows, manual gray vinyl seats, black rubber floor mats and air-conditioning. Also has controls for electronica siren with four distinct siren sounds. The engine is the legendary 7.4L 454 Vortec V8 engine. Runs exceptionally well. No drips, no smoke, low low miles. Front extended bumper includes bumper mounted winch with wired control unit. Tires are in good condition, truck has been well-maintained. No rust anywhere on the vehicle. The box is an emergency one from the manufacturer in Florida. Lots of storage. The passenger side holds a five horse power generator to run the work spot lights. Very clean inside and out. This would be great for a small volunteer fire department, or for a contractor, plumber, anyone who needs lots of storage, plus lots of power and four-wheel-drive ability. Originally, outfitted as is, cost of vehicle was approximately $80,000. Can assist with shipping with restrictions/timing/notice/distance.
