This 1998 International 4800 digger derrick is in good condition for its age. This truck is a 4x4 unit and is powered by a DT466E diesel engine and has a 9 speed manual transmission. The business end of this unit has a Terex 4050 boom with a 50’ sheave height and 18,650lb capacity. It is a 3 section hydraulic boom with 2 speed digger, tip winch, pole grabs, riding console and auger. This boom is equipped with a pin on bucket and upper controls. However the upper controls have been capped off and are non operational. With a little bit of work I’m sure you could get it working again but for this sale the trucks upper controls are being sold as non functioning and as/is. There is a nice fiberglass utility body with 5 storage compartments for your tools and inventory. There are 4 hydraulic outriggers to keep you safe while working. The interior features 2 bucket seats, heat, ac, am/fm/cd stereo and cruise control. This truck has 22.5” tires with 40% front and 80% rear tread depth remaining approximately. For all of your towing needs there is a nice pintle hitch setup. This truck has a 33,000lb GVWR and 206” wheelbase. To date the odometer shows 225 miles and the true mileage is unknown, however there is 9,314 hours on this unit.
