For sale today is a 1998 International 4700 ladder truck. It is powered by a DT466E turbo diesel engine and is backed by a 7 speed manual transmission. At the business end of this unit is a rear-mounted Wilke ladder boom with a 60" working height. These unique booms allow work in tight places with great access. There is a basket to stand in while working and there are upper and lower controls. Many of these trucks had manual outriggers that required a bit of set up time and they were just awkward to use. This unit has the upgraded hydraulic outriggers to make this a very easy and quick process to set up. The brakes are hydraulic, and the GVWR is under 26,001 pounds-putting this truck under the requirements that require a CDL license. The tires are all 22.5 units, but they are not much to brag about. They are all DOT legal and will work for the time being, however you might want to think about replacing them in the near future. This truck is ready to go to work making you money. It starts right up and drives down the road nicely. The boom works nice and is in overall good condition. This truck is located in Des Moines, Iowa, where we are also offering it for sale locally.
