I am posting my international 4700 with the 7.3 engine that has the HP rating 230hp.
The truck was put on the road around the beginning of this year. It was MD inspected and the only thing that was recommended but not needed to be done was changing the rear drums. Since registering and putting on the road it had less than 5000 miles and then was put out of service because it wasn"t easy finding the right driver for me.
The truck is in great condition mechanically and cosmetically.
It starts right away even on the coldest day as well as the hottest.
It gives no problems at all. the fuel tank was taken out and emptied and cleaned when registered.
Tires are in very good shape and the brakes too.
Transmission is automatic 6 speed Eaton Fuller. Shifts smooth and no leaks at all.
The truck has been sitting for at least 6 or 7 months, but I start it an move it on a regular basis.
The trailer was totally gone through when put to work with the international.
Three new complete axles were installed less than 5000 miles as well.
We had worn tires so I ended up changing the 6 tires and buying an additional rim to have a spare tire, which happened right before I stopped them from working.
The axles I bought from Kaufman in NC and they came complete with everything; bearing , brake shoes, drums...
Other than the paint looking old on the trailer I don"t think there will be anything different from a new trailer.
Nice thing about this trailer is that it has the optional 8000 plus heavy duty axles. which makes it capable of hauling any size vehicles.
Hydraulics work very good.
lights were all there and working. I wouldn"t be surprised if one or two are missing from sitting.
I am looking to sell and am willing to trade with anything.
Anything I would accept as a trade will be priced according to KBB or Nada.
I am not interested in any boats since I already have one, I have two bikes but I"m willing to see what you have. Old muscle cars are what I prefer but I"m willing to look at anything.
